How long after you quit birth control does it take to get out of your body?
I've been on some form of birth control for over 3 years and I just quit. Now me and my other half are trying to have a baby. How long will I have to wait until its all out of my system and I can get pregnant?
Again, it depends on the form of b/c. The Depo Shot can take a year to get out of your system, for example. However, you can get pregnant the very next month after stopping the combined pill. Of course, it also depends on your body but 3 years isn't too long to be on the pill (some women are on it for 10 years!) and if you're eating right and taking Folic Acid (or multi-vitamins) then your body will heal and get ready quickly, I'm sure!
