I have Flakes in my hair?
Okay I found flakes in my hair and this NEVER happened before. I wash my hair every morning, sometimes at night. And I recently switched to this new shampoo. My friend told me that switching shampoos can cause flakes...Is that true?? Seriously it's so gross! I am so embaressed that someone will see it in my hair. I used to use Nexxus Salon hair care Therappe luxurious moisturizing shampoo and Nexxus Salon Hair care Humectress Ultimate moisturizing conditioner. Then I switched to Herbal Essences Body Envy volumizing Shampoo with a fusion of nectarine and white coral flower but I still use the same conditioner...so did switching the shampoo cause the flakes because I never got flakes before. HELPP!!
dandruff is natural. don't worry about it. and you shouldn't wash your hair everyday, over-washing can cause flat hair and it's always good for your hair to soak up it's own healthy oils.
by the way, herbal essences is terrible. one of their shampoos and conditioners totally dried out my hair, and it was getting oily after one day. usually i can go 3 days without washing it. i don't use herbal anymore.
